Romantic Rooftop Wedding at the Philadelphia Library {vicky & zach} PA Wedding

We had a blast documenting Vicky and Zach’s wedding at the Free Library of Philadelphia this spring. We began the day with Vicky as she got ready in The Logan Hotel with her bridesmaids. After Vicky put on her Lazaro wedding gown from UnVeiled, she read a card Zach had left for her asking her to come find him at the Race Street Pier for their first look.

At the pier, we set Zach up under the bridge for their first look. He waited nervously in his blue tux from Les Richards as Vicky walked down the pier to tap him on the shoulder before turning around to see her in her dress for the first time. Afterward, they hung out for a bit on the pier with their bridal party before climbing into their trolley from Philadelphia Sightseeing Tours to ride over to the Philadelphia Museum of Art. Around the back of the museum, the bridal party explored the grounds to create some fun images with us before we headed over to the library for the ceremony where Vicky and Zach spoke their vows in front of, as Vicky put it, the people they love the most.

After they walked down the aisle, Vicky and Zach greeted their guests on the marble staircase as they made their way to the second floor for cocktail hour before heading to the roof for a beautiful reception. After a romantic first dance, Joe Moser from DJ’s Available Sound & Light Entertainment had their guests up and dancing the night away. We were honored to provide the photography, videography, and photobooth for this amazing event.
